How it works

What sits behind every plan

Five things that don't change whichever tier you choose.

  1. 01Individual CEST assessment

Every engagement is run through a dedicated CEST assessment based on the actual work — not a blanket determination. You receive a copy and so does the engager. The assessment is logged, dated, and forms part of your audit trail.

  2. 02Engager-of-record structure

Care Syndicate sits as the engager-of-record between you and the care provider. You stay genuinely self-employed under the relationship; we handle the contracts, the compliance paperwork, and the right-to-substitute documentation that HMRC expects to see.

  3. 03Same-day payments

Cleared funds in before 13:00 on payment run day — your money lands the same day. No factoring, no umbrella deductions, no waiting on agency 30-day terms.

  4. 04Permanent audit trail

Every CEST result, every self-bill statement, every signed engagement, every HMRC submission — kept together, time-stamped, and exportable. If HMRC ask, you have the file ready.

  5. 05Plan flexibility

Move between Foundation, Shield and Summit as your circumstances change. 30 days' written notice, no penalties — the same wording that's in your engagement (W-01) terms.
